Community Groups are small groups of 3 to 12 individuals. It could be a mix of couples or individuals or both who meet in homes, in the community or online. Groups are where people have the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth.
Groups commit to spending a predetermined amount of time together for authentic community and spiritual growth. A great group includes time for both relational connection and studies that challenge members to grow spiritually. Groups also identify a life-impacting opportunity that they, as a group, are going to take on in the community. A “mission” to make a difference in the lives of others. A typical group meeting will consist of social time, study, and prayer.
Groups typically meet about three times per month for 1.5 to 2 hours. Most groups take breaks during the holidays and summer.
Most groups meet in homes and are formed based on the leader’s location or the chosen Host Home.
There’s no limit! As soon as we have a leader, co-leader and location, we can launch groups of all shapes and make ups. Examples would be:
Married Couples' Groups
Men's Groups
Women's Groups
