Your First Visit

Our
goal
is
to
make
Sunday
the
best day
of
your
week!

We want everyone to feel welcome at New Life Wichita. Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. To help alleviate some of that, below are 6 things to prepare you for what to expect.

1
Where do I go?

We meet in back part of the WSU Metroplex on the corner of 29th and Oliver. When you first pull up and don’t see cars, don’t panic! Parking is the back, southside parking lot. Just follow the signs.

2
Do I need to dress up?

Jeans are the norm, so just be comfortable!

3
The building is big!

The parking lot is big too! If you come in from 29th, don’t panic, you’re in the right place. Parking is in the big lot behind the building on south side. Just watch for the orange flags and friendly individuals in the parking lot for directions. Once inside, enjoy some coffee and maybe a snack until service time, which starts promptly at 10 AM.

4
What about children?

We have fun, safe environments for children birth to 5th grade. If you have kids, you might allow a few extra minutes to check out the KidsLife area and meet the team! Once comfortable, you can check your children in. You will never be more than 50 feet or so away from your child. You can learn more about our children’s program here.

5
How long is the Sunday morning experience?

About 65 minutes total. We start promptly at 10 AM and conclude usually by 11:05 AM.

6
What happens during the Sunday morning experience?

We usually start with music (don’t worry. No one’s gonna try to force you to sing), followed by a 30-ish minute talk. Life is complicated, and faith can feel that way too. You’re trying to figure it all out and get it right. Every talk is designed to help. Our communicators focus on one big idea with one practical application designed to make faith practical at every stage of life.
